Gentle Dodge & Burn
These tips were captured from forum discussions at Operation Photo Rescue... What's best about these techniques is that they are all non-destructive... they offer finer levels of control than simply using the typical dodging & burning tools. (Here is a link to the actual forum thread: dodge/burn )
Create a new layer and start with these settings, tweaking each as necessary...
